  1. Hi Chi!

I love the flow of your portfolio. All the sections and the organization of the photos really come together and give the viewer an understanding of how you see the world. I really enjoyed your photos throughout the semester and I think you've definitely showcased your best work here! I love the shadows section. I always find it difficult capturing the simplicity of a shadow and your photographs capture the beauty of them perfectly. Great eye and great job!

  2. Hey Chi, these are really great photos! I love how consistent each chapter is and how different they are. I especially love the contrast of "Shapes of Color" and "Shapes of Blackness." For your Photo of the Year I would pick the third picture in Shapes of Blackness, I love that it is in color yet still fits the theme and seems bleak.

  3. Hey Chi,

Your photos are awesome. You have an eye for active shooting and I am jealous. Your chapters are creative and fitting to your photos. My favorite photo is your last photo of your chapter :Shape of Blackness. The photo is timeless, the lighting is great and it resides with me.

  4. Hey Chi, I love the first photo under shapes of color. I love sunflowers and the color in this photo is awesome. I love how close you are to the flower itself. The titles of the chapters are very creative and work well with the photos they are explaining. Great job.

  5. My favorite photo is Experimental, picture 2. I like how the mirror (or reflective surface) makes it seem as though the tree continues. I also really like the coloring and the offset framing of the window. I also really like The Vintage, photo 1. It uses filter effects very well.

  6. Hi Chi Hwan. You did a real good job in putting together this portfolio. I honestly did not expect your portfolio to be as strong as it was, which I think is a sign of how much you've grown this semester. I love the second image in your experimental set is definitely my favorite. The usage of the window and the mirror make it seem so surreal.
