Hi Kati, I really like the chapter of you. All the pictures are really funny, and I like how the pictures show your personality. My favorite picture is the last picture in chapter 3 of you laying on your couch upside down. I really like that it is in black and white, I think that really adds to the picture.
Hey Kati, you have a great portfolio. I like all your close ups and how you capture the detail through those shots. My favorite photo of your set is chapter 4, picture one. The contrast with the dull background and gold subjects really wows the viewer.
Hey Kati. Minus the formatting of the post, this is a real solid portfolio. I really enjoy your chapter on self portraits. I know a lot of people aren't super enthused about doing self portraits, but it's nice to see that you aren't one of them. I think my favorite image is the second image in the third chapter. My one criticism is that some of the images (particularly the ones you have used from your original first or second crits) are of pretty mundane objects in not so imaginative ways. I would have loved to see you reattempt those images now that you've gotten more experience, but ah well. Good job this semester.
My favorite is Chapter 2, photo 3. It is a great landscape shot. It is really well-framed and the coloring suits the image well. There are large spaces between a lot of your photos on the web page. Blogger can be incredibly difficult when is comes to positioning photos, so I understand, just thought I'd point it out.
My favorite picture is your third picture in chapter 3. It gives me such a calm and serendity feeling. I want a poster of it in my room and I feel like I should do yoga every time I look at it
Hello! I think your fork image is the best of the year. The contrast is great and the texture is fabulous. I love how simple it is, and yet it is an extremely dynamic image. Good job on all your images!
