  1. Ian -
I would have to say my favorite photo in this bunch is the first one because of the shadow work. They are vivid and the photo strikes me with a good and evil feel with the lighting being washed out at the bottom and dark at the bottom. I also like the flow of the pictures and how there is less abundance of light as one goes down through them.

  2. Picture #2 really stands out to me because as i look at it i have no idea what it is, it looks like the inners of a lightbulb but yet it looks like some kind of tube, perfect example of mystery, and since theres no color there are no real clues to tell us the viewer what the subject is.

  3. Hey Ian,

Looking at your photos it appears to me that you have documented a trip. I like the construction of your images and the way you used light to create a mystery or highlight a feature in images 1-4. I am confused at what the images themselves are trying to communicate but I think that may be the mystery in it ! My favorite is image 4. It has a lot of components and leaves a lot more questions than answers.

  4. Watson!

Awesome light in the first 3. Great job with that. Your self portraits are probably the most interesting I've seen so far. That being said I could do without the graffiti picture.

  5. hey Ian,
my favorite photo is Picture #3. I really like how you used light to alter space while creating a mystery in your photos. All in all your pictures are great. It's almost hard to believe this was done on a smartphone. However, I must add that you should've left out image 10; the graffiti picture is out of place with the others.
