I like your 4th photo because of the familiarity of the image and the unfamiliar way it is composed in the frame. I think the image is impactful because of the lines created by the light. At first I didn't see that it was a fork but after a couple of seconds I could figure out that it was a fork.
Kati - I really like your self portraits, showing two different sides of you from different angles. I would have to say #6 is my favorite, I really enjoy that it is both slightly out of focus and oft centered, making it a tad uncomfortable.
My favorite photo has to be #4. It's great that you were able to get that close to an image with your smart phone and it looked that clear. It kind of looks like a sketch too. Since you can see all the little marks and such on the fork, it doesn't make it look real. I also really like how you filtered the background too. It matches the look of the fork which added to the illusion that it was drawn. Great job!
Your photos remind me of a morning routine. I am not sure if this was your intention but it appeared as though it began with getting dressed, eating breakfast, watching tv, getting to school etc...I especially liked the telephone cord, I have not seen one of those in a long time! Overall, I think your pictures did communicate well, but they may have communicated to well. By only focusing on one element, I did not find reason to "dig" deeper into your photo and the element of mystery was not really there. For the construction of your photos, I like that they are off center, really highlighting their strong elements. I have to say my favorite is #2. I like the focus and contrast of this image.
I think you could have gone a little more abstract for this assignment. There is some nice light in them all, I would just try to experiment more with your subjects.
All of your photos seem to have a theme of zooming in on everyday objects. Your perspective is interesting, though. My favorite of the bunch is the first one because of the texture and composition.
