  1. #3 is my favorite. Funny, I don't normally go for panorama shots, but in this case, I still can't figure out what exactly it is. It's almost like its a canoe...but I can't decide if it's that or just a skewed perspective on a building. Very cool!

  2. The fact that almost all of your vertical panoramas end up with the ground behind you makes me so very, very happy. The photo of the underside of the bridge in photo three is my favorite. The only criticism I have is your self portraits. The first one is very nice, but you could have totally done a sweet slow shutter speed of you scrubbing those pearly whites in the second! Such a missed opportunity, ahhhhhh! Good job, though!

  3. Hi Kristen, all of your pictures are really great and you show a lot of variety which makes your pictures as a whole really interesting to look at. You have a nice amount of slow shutter speed and panorama shots. My favorite picture is #8 because the colors are very vibrant as well as it is a great representation of slow shutter speed. Great job!

  4. Kristen, my absolutely favorite would have to be #3. The panorama from the ground under the bridge not only gives the bridge an elongated appearance, but as Mariah said above, it gives a skewed perspective. Very cool, and it's caught my eye as soon as I glanced at your work! I also enjoy the rich, soft and vibrant colors in #9.

  5. Hey Kristin,
I really like all your photos. I think you effectively used panorama to create an extended view as seen in 1 and 4. I also love your use of vertical panorama to create an impossible scene as you did in #3 and have to say that is my favorite. How did you do that? I also think you have a great shutter speed collection here. #7, 8 9, and 12 all have some focus yet incorporate movement. This was probably the biggest element I struggled with. I think in the future it would be cool to explore night photography. All your photos take place during the day and I think you could get something really cool out of the lighting and colors at night. I am trying to get a group together to see if anyone would be interested in going out and taking photos throughout the night as Prof. Berkowitz suggested in one of his guides. Let me know if you'd be interested !

  6. Hey Kristen,

These are nice but a lot of them seem a bit over saturated. My favorite slow shutter is the flag and my favorite pan is the bridge. ALso looks like you live in a cool area.

  7. Hi Kristen, I like your photos because they tell a lot about you. They are very personal. I like your #9 photo because of your use of a slow shutter speed to show the movement of water. I think you can tone down the saturation of the colors but the photo is really great.

  8. 7 is definitely my favorite. I love the subtlety of the slow exposure and since most flags fly rather high, it makes me wonder what your vantage point was for this photo. Great contrast with the colors. Nice job.

  9. Photo 10 was my favorite- there's just something hypnotic and soothing about a record on a turntable. I think this was a great subject to focus on for this assignment- not only does it fit the long exposure, but it gives the viewer an extended view into what music means to you. Nice job!
