  1. 5 is definitely my favorite photo. It feels very nostalgic and I love the feeling of traveling down the road at night past all the lights. Great use of long exposure.

  2. 14 is my favorite. the lush green grass reminds me of the trail I used hike back at home. I especially love the concept of taking a long exposure on the horse. great idea.

  3. #5 is hands down my favorite. It gives it such a mystery feeling. I feel like I'm somewhat in the matrix and also in fast and furious. I just feel like I am going so fast through space and time that I also feel like I'm time traveling. It's great that you were able to capture such a mysterious photo and let our minds wander.

  4. My favorite photo is 14. I like how you used the horses head that you were on along with the horse in front of you for the photo. The long exposure really gives me the feeling that I am on a horse too with is being shaky. Good job.

  5. 10 is my favorite. I love the creepy feeling it gives. I also like the sharp contrast, and the strong lines that are gained from extending the line of view of the fence. I also really liked your second self portrait. It was lovely, and gave me the sense of mystery to what was off the page so to speak, through the door. Beautiful!

  6. Hey Caitlyn,

You have a pretty interesting set of photos here, I am not sure if you had one particular motivation for your photos, as I see both mystery and horses as two potential themes. It is hard to determine what you are trying to communicate in the first two photos, but I think that may be what you wanted. One aspect of your photos that stands out is the amount of night photos you have. I think that is the hardest time to shoot at least my experience with this assignment and you show that the obstacle it did not discourage you. I think you have could have explored your use of panorama a little more to capture some of the idea you had. For example, the image of you on the horse would look really cool if it was a vertical panorama. My favorite photo is 10. The tones highlight the fence and the plants growing along it. I also find y self being drawn through the woof into the open space. Awesome

  7. Photo five is by far my favorite. I've seen many images like it, but this one is a cut above the rest. I feel like I should be listening to that tune from the beginning of the movie Driver when looking at it.

This is your strongest body of work this semester.

  8. picture #6 is probably my favorite picture of anyone's from this evaluation perfect use of long exposure everything outside of the car is moving but the wiper blades and dash are stationary and its in black and white it would not have been as effective had it been in color nice choice

  9. Number 5 is my favorite. It's great use of slow shutter speed and creates a really cool looking effect. Number 10 is also very impressive and good use of black and white. Number 2 is good, but it looks like there's some sort of reflection in the window which kind of takes away from it. Number 12 is great use of color. For organization, I feel your photos could have been organized in a more coherent way. Your self portrait 2 looks great and is good use of a sepia effect and/ or other effects to create a sepia look.

  10. #5 is a really cool shot. The slow shutter shows movement and the contrast enhances the photo. Overall your photo set is really interesting.
