3 and 4 are my favorite photos of yours. Before looking at the fifth picture, I couldn't tell what 4 was. I had a feeling it was a hose being fanned out, but it also looked like the bottom part was grass and the top part was a lake of some sort and you were creating a splash. Because that photo made think and made me stop and stare, I think 4 should be your POW.
Photo #2 is my favorite. I like how you captured the flames movement with the long exposure. The panoramic photos of the woods are well done. They are clean and crisp photos. Great job
#6 is my favorite. I love the perspective, and the fact that you have your feet in it really give me the idea of the long walk ahead, and developed more of a story than had it simply been a road. I also like your black and white shots. Maybe adding a little motion to the hose shots could be cool too! Try using an external flash (it helps a lot I found haha)
Hi Garrett, I really like how most of your pictures flow ant match each other, like your theme was nature or the woods. All the beautiful leaves are very nice to look at and the black and white pictures make the woods look very creepy! My favorite picture is #7 because since you can see your feet it looks like you are walking on a path in the woods leading to nothing. Very cool picture!
Hey Garrett, I liked how most of your photos took place outside. I also like how used your collection to demonstrate what appears to be before and after pictures. Its helps really show the difference between techniques and what changing an angle, scope of view or shutter speed can do . This is seen in pictures 3 and 4 as you successfully captured the same thing at different shutter speeds. Showing the effects of it. Also in 6 & 7 where your use of black and white and panorama created a mysterious image that you then reveal in color. Setting up your photos like this is an interesting an idea and it almost creates a classroom setting. I have to say my favorite photo is #1. I like how you set the frame and have a clear image while capturing the pour into the glass. It is also my birthday month. Cheers to that.
i really like your second self portrait, i like how its panorama but yet you are looking at your self which is essentially a self portrait within a self portrait excellent work
Image number 6 is my favorite. The tone was very successful, as was the use of vertical panorama. The dark sections along the side and bottom really draw the viewer in and elongate the image even further, creating the impression that you can walk into the image. Awesome.
10 is definitely my favorite. I really enjoy the depth of field in this photo with the leaves out of focus. This can be really hard to do using a phone camera. Nicely done.
I love the last few of the outdoors. They've got an awesome flow and the depth really brings in my focus. No. 1 is my favorite though, for obvious reasons. Great job overall.
I really like how you played with the long-exposure shots with simple household items such as a lighter and a hose. Not only did these shots come out well, but I loved the simplicity you captured in each shot. Sometimes I think people try to hard to make things look cool but all of your photo sets are always really effortless. Your second self portrait is also awesome- really cool job with creating a double exposure type image with the panorama!
