Self Portraits:

  1. 6 is my favorite picture. It is really festive and works well with this topic because you can see so many at a time. I also like how the orange stands out with the green on the background. My only critique has to be that there are almost none that were taken with a slow shutter app.

  2. 12 and 15 are my favorite! I really like 12 because it looks like I took this out front of my house. I had to do a double take the first time I saw it. I also really like 15 because it looks so pure. There's no one in the shot and its over exposed at the top so we don't see whats up there which adds this mysterious feel to it. It reminds me how people say when you pass there's a light that you have to walk towards and this picture reminds me. Good job!

  3. Holly, I particularly like how you shot your panoramas vertically as I don't see those often. I like picture #5 the most as the arrow does appear to look closer than it seems. Your first self portrait looks like it has that "panorama affect", however, I can't tell whether it's just a curved hallway, or if you used an app. It's very cool looking, though. I like it!

  4. Hey Holly, my favorite from this set is number 15. I like how it goes from light to dark from top to bottom, with the stats being a great center piece for your eyes. The way that it's over exposed makes it seem almost holy and yet unsettling.

  5. I really like #3. Close up panoramas make that real nice warped effect. My only criticism is that I don't think there is a single slow shutter shot in here.

  6. Hey Holly,

My favorite image is #3. I tried a taking a lot of up close shot and I know how difficult it is to be able to get a good photo. I think you effectively got a close photo without distorting it to much or having any unwanted bumps.

  7. Hey Holly,

My favorite is the one with the arrow in the parking garage. i htink it captures the sense of extended seeing very well. And the pumpkins and that is a nice piano as well.

  8. I like photo #1 because I think it captured the weather and the season very well. It is a good photo for our topic because the eye can't really see that much of the sky and that much of the ground at the same time. Nice work on post processing the photo!

  9. Photo 6 is my favorite of these mostly because I'm partial to the fall season. Great perspective of the subject matter. I can get you got low to take this photo to get the right angle. Love the contrast of the colors.

  10. Photo 5 is my favorite! I like how you switched up the position of the panorama to be vertical instead of horizontal- it frames the shot in a unique way for the viewer. I also like the stark contrast between the bright yellow arrow and the black and white cars and the grey concrete parking garage. Nice job!
