  1. Your pictures are really cool! There could have been just one or two less of buildings or rooftops, but I am such a sucker for skylines and rooftop photos. I had such a hard time deciding which was my favorite. I think my favorite has to be #5. I like how the clouds kind of look like its a rain cloud and that it's going to rain at any minute, but then the other side is a lot clearer. I also really like how the sky stands out so much. There is so much going on in this photo but it works and it keeps me interested.

  2. My favorite photo was 13. I love how each house is its own color and the forth house is taller than the rest. I feel the placement of the cars is very pleasing to the eye having that balance. The photo of the book store is also very interesting. It makes me feel like I am there looking around the store myself. Great job

  3. Hey Kendel,
I think you did a really great job with you panoramic shots. I don't really see any shutter speed shots and l think it would be worth exploring next assignment. I am not sure if you were trying to capture a distinct theme but I did take away an overall feeling of abandonment. The abandoned houses, lot...and maybe an old factory? I have been trying to find abandoned places to photograph would you be interested in joining me? I think it would be a lot better to collaborate and have multiple people then then being by myself. My favorite shot is number 1. I like how used the panoramic view to capture the house. It gave me this feeling of immensity. It was also kind of spooky. It made me think of this event I did this weekend on the city called Rebuild Philadelphia. One of the neighborhood kids was telling about how he hated the abandoned houses on his block as they made him feel uncomfortable and they were like "monsters" of his block. You captured this here.

  4. #9 is a great picture, if there was only one of these type of photos it would have been great, you can almost tell exactly what time it is in the picture with the sun shining over all the houses and the clouds very nice use of panorama

  5. I think your panoramas could do with being a bit more panoramy (which is totally a real word that I didn't just make up). I can tell that they're shot a little wide like a panorama, but most of them seem like they're sized like a regular image. I know you totally got the vision, so you can make it happen. I really enjoy photo nine. It's your most successful in terms of panorama, color, content, and capturing a cool moment.

  6. Hey Kendel, this is a great set of pictures. You do an awesome job of making your colors pop and contrast with each other. My favorite picture from this set is number five, I love the all the different aspects of the city you were able to capture from industrial to athletics.

  7. My favorite is number 13. I like how the panorama arcs the buildings. The colors are also very vibrant and eye catching. Your very good at color editing. All of the pictures are very bright and colorful without being over saturated. The overall theme of the collection appears to be the city. For the organization, I feel 11, 12, 14, and 15 should have been placed earlier in the collection to cluster it with the other abandoned locations photos. Your collection is very good.

  8. Hey Kendell,

    # 1 is my favorite. I once shot that building before its so cool. Lots of others like it around that area as well. Also enjoyed your self portraits. I like the contrast of decay and temple buildings. Nice.

  9. I love the story your photo set tells, but I think my favorite picture out of the set is your first photo. There's just something hauntingly beautiful about the ivy covering this house- it makes the viewer wonder who used to live there and what the house used to look like before the ivy took over. I love how you highlighted the beauty of the colorful ivy though, making the crumbling building still beautiful in a sense. Good job!
