My favorite photo is definitely 11. I think you did a great job with using a long exposure here without the photo becoming too overexposed. Long exposure was something I had a hard time with, and I think you did a great job of showing us something the eyes can't see on their own.
Ian, I think my favorite picture is #3. I really like how you used the panoramic camera. It looks really awesome how you can see your whole bathroom vertically and then your head is just popping at the top. I really like all your other panoramic photos as well. My only critique is that you need more slow shutter photos.
My favorite photo is #4. If it was a regular snapshot I feel like I would not have seen what the photo was but because of the panoramic view I can now see it is cars at night. You had a good mix of photos inside and outside.
Number 3 is my favorite for sure! I love that the extended view made us not just see you, but also your reflection in one shot. A very cool idea for a setting. All of your panoramas seem well executed, like there was some thought put into the setting of them.
I have two favorites 11 and 13.i really like separation of the panorama on 13 how the candles and the table are right in the middle with the equal amount of seats on either side. and 11 is great because you can see all the movement of not only the prime subject but also the action in the background nice work
#11 would have to be my favorite. The distortion in the photo makes it look extremely busy - a lot going on. I also enjoyed your panoramas. You were able to go to different locations which makes your sets have variety.
I like 3 and 11 the best. 11 is really distorted, giving it a mysterious feel, like I've been chugging couch medicine. Anyway, 3 is good too. Love the vertical pano.
I really love your first image in your photoset- it stopped me from scrolling to the next photo and just made me look at it and wonder what the story behind the photo was. I think it was very clever to frame the photo the way you did and create distance between you and the other subject with the panorama feature. It really added an emotional appeal to the photo by creating such a distance between you and the other subject with your hand reaching for them. Really beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHey Ian,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite image in #1. I like how you created a story and leave it up to the viewer to finish it.
