Hey Holly, Overall, I think your theme, as it was suppose to be, is passion. Your photos clearly illustrated what you enjoy and what your interest are and allow the viewer to feel a personal connection with you. I like how all you photos are from different points of view and angles, how in number 7 you focus through a trophy but then in number 9 you give a wider frame. My suggestion for future photos is that you add more background to your photos, making them more complex and making the viewer work to understand what your trying to capture. My favorite image is #9. You really utilized the lighting and contrast of the clouds here.
Holly- I really like the variety of colors you used in your set. You did a very good job of having a lot of different colors in all your pictures which combind to send different emotions to your audience. My favorite would have to be #12, I like the various patterns and materials in the clothing
You mixed up the colors and frames and the sequences really flowed together well. I like #3 best. the blades of grass are really framed nicely. good job.
I really can see what you are passionate about from these photos and the colors are vibrant. My favorite photo is #6. It like how it is almost split on purpose with the top being blue and the bottom half green. It really emphases the beauty of nature and I feel a majority of your photos capture nature beautifully.
#10 Is def my favorite. Funny enough I thought it was a flower highly exposed at first until I realized it was fireworks. I like your framing style, not centering everything. You also mix it up a lot between monochrome and contrast which is nice
3 and 10 are my favorite. I love how close you got to the blades of grass. It makes me feel like I'm laying on the grass outside. The depth of field fits the picture really well. You have some blades that are in focus and others that aren't. And the green is so vibrant in that picture. It's great. As far as 10 goes the blue of the sky is awesome. It's cool how the trees are almost silhouetted and are super dark in comparison to the vibrate sky and then you have the clouds which aren't super vibrant but they aren't as dark as the trees. 10 really pops! Keep it up!
Absolute favorites are 9 and 10. You've captured the fireworks really well, and it looks as I am looking at a gif, ready for them to move. The blue skies in 9 is breathtaking.
#10 is my favorite photo. Fireworks were a great choice for the color/passion assignment because they're colorful and visually interesting and always have a fun vibe. I like all of you photos. They could have possibly been organized a little better. I organized my photos starting with inside photos and gradually transitioned to outside photos. Something similar could have been done with your collection. All of your photos are very fun and brightly lit. You clearly translate what you are passionate about. #3 is also very good. It's a very busy picture but the shallow depth of field draws the eye to the center. It also was a creative way to take a picture of a solid color.
9 and 10 are my favorites. I feel like they really embody the topic. The colors and contrast of the clouds are amazing and I was definitely taken back by it. And I feel like fireworks embody passion and color. I can tell the shot was well timed because fireworks can be hard to capture.
My favorite one is #12. I like the different colors and textures incorporated in the photo. In addition, the visual direction of the photo goes from bottom left to top right which creates an interesting dynamic.
I liked number 3 the most out of your photo set- the simplicity, pop of color, and angle of the shot brought me back to a summer mindset I thought it captured the assignment very well.
My favorite here is #3. I love how the light works into the blades of grass and also how the depth of field plays into it. The entire frame is filled with grass which I think makes a balance in the photo.
