The shot of the painter with his shadow is really fantastic. I love how you captured the bright colors of the canvas against the full night landscape. The contrast between the night shadows and the painting is really beautiful. The framing in all of your photos in your photoset are great, I really enjoyed them!
My favorite has to be the third picture of the window. It has this awesome eerie feel to it. The shadow of the window on the wall is really awesome. All you're other people pictures are great as well. You really captured the essence of this assignment.
I think you really did a great job at capturing so many different kind of photos. You have over the top color, exterior ambience, interior ambience, nonochrome and night images. The way you captured the water on the window, the reflection and then the black and white tones while having a small amount of color through the window (or so I think) is great. I also like your change in focus from being up close and focused as seen with 9 to a more relaxed view in 13. The only thing I think you need more of in your photos is your personality. Your photos are great and you definitely captured color but I feel like I don't know much about you/your passions or at least not as much as I could. My favorite photo is number 9. You really captured a great photo from the lighting to the angle.
Chi - I love the colors in your set and the emotions they convey. All your colors are very vibrant and make originate objects pop out to the viewer. I especially like the unconventional angles used in pictures seven and eleven, both make be think of things that are new and have an exciting feel to them. My favorite of this set has to be #1, the colors are incredibly poping and the mirror adds a different vocal point with some great lighting.
Great job I think you really captured the colors great in your photos. My favorite is #9. I like how it is dark yet areas of the photo pop with color. I liked how you used light in your photos to convey different feelings. Just like in #9 because the shadow is on the canvas it feels as almost he really puts himself into his art.
I can't decide which I like more, 2 or 10. Both have such vibrant colors, and are overall very appealing. My ony suggestion is maybe get closer to your subject matter (like in these two) on some of your other pics to get a stronger impression from them. Overall, I can see passion coming through in many of these, and though going into the composition.
My favorite is 9. It's really beautiful. I really love how you captured the mans shadow on his painting. I love how large his shadow is too, almost larger than life. The way the street lights continue down the street force me to look at what's down there. The composition of 9 and the colors are great. You can definitely see his passion for painting. Keep it up!
#1 is my favorite. The colors are nicely saturated without appearing unrealistic. Also, I like how the reflection creates an optical illusion as though it is another window, not a reflective surface. The framing and color makes it very unique. #9 is also very good. I like the lighting and how the artist's shadow is cast over the canvas. This is another one that has a unique look and composition that makes it stand out. You have a good eye for capturing things in a unique way that makes the pictures have a surreal quality which makes your collection stand out as a whole.
My favorite shot is your first one. The light is beautiful and the colors are so vibrant. I love the reflection on the mirror the most. The composition is very well thought out.
This series is the best I have seen so far. The colors really pop out and are there doesn't seem to be much editing, which is good. My favorite is #10. Your phone really focuses well.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the vibrant color of 10. The color of the flower really does make me admire it longer.
