  1. Your first image is my favorite. I like how the cases create a mosaic, and so the different colors becomes the focus, rather than the subject of the discs. It is hard to take pictures of things with print on them and not have the print be the focus, and I feel you did this effectively.

  2. Hey Garrett,
I thought you did a good job communicating your interests/passions. The organization of your photos made sense as you want from inside to outside. My suggestions would be to be try and stay away from centering your images. In photos 6,7,8 I think you could have used the frame more to your advantage by off centering the leaves or showing the whole landscaping around the flowers drawing the viewer in. My favorite photo is #2.

  3. Hi Garrett, I really like the variety in your pictures and all the different lighting and angles you have. I like how some pictures have the subject close and others have multiple subjects in the picture and are from farther away. My favorite picture is #8 because it is so in focus and looks so real! I feel like I can actually touch the flower and feel the petals! The texture really shows through the picture!

  4. You seem like the kind of guy who shares my level of appreciation for alcohol, and I respect that. I think that your photos are a little hampered by whatever sort of tilt shift effect you were going for, and some seem a tiny bit oversaturated. This together makes some images, like 5, very pixely, which is unfortunate because I don't think there's a single bad photo in here. Also, I wish your photo 1 was more like the first picture in your Other section of the shot glasses. 1 has a better selection of glasses, but the way the other photo is composed is absolutely beautiful.

I'm actually torn on favorites. On one hand, I think photo 10 is freakin' grand, eerie, and adventurous. On the other, your second self portrait is really, REALLY well done. I might go with self portrait two just because, but they're both real nice. Well done.

  5. Photo 10 is my favorite shot of yours- I like how you used the plants to frame the mysterious object in the background. It draws the viewer in and makes them wonder what's happening back there. This shot would be a good beginning if you wanted to tell that story. Very cool.
