  1. Hi Dan, I really like your pictures and the contrast of each one. I noticed you used different types of lighting and shadows which really brought your pictures to life. The pictures with natural lighting makes me feel like I am actually there and just make the picture so much more realistic. The shadows in #8 and #10 and interesting because it takes your eyes off the subject and forces you to look at the whole picture. My favorite picture is #12 because although it is not bright and colorful, I like that the colors are a little faded because I think it gives the picture a sense of mystery and a little scary.

  2. #11 is my favorite for sure just because of the perspective, looking through the 8 distorts the background behind it and makes it the focus and not the focus at the same time, and the fact that the 8 takes up most of the picture is really nice framing like you have a choice but to look at it

  3. Hey Dan, I love your way of doing self portraits, especially #5. I also love the way you approached angles and general geometric shapes in this series. 11 would have to be my favorite for this, given the shapes and both levels of greenness to it. I do gotta say though, you could have done photo 6 better. The image quality leads me to believe that you used the digital zoom on the camera to get it the way you did, and the sun kind of makes it a bit too faded out. Use your two legs, man! They're the best zoom device invented for cameras.

  4. Hi I like number #11 because of the composition, the texture and the color in the photo. I was caught by the shape in the photo.

  5. hi Dan, I really like your photos specifically 1, 8, and 11. However, my favorite piece would have to be #11. I absolutely love the angle you took it in. It's almost unrecognizable yet very clear which is good because it adds mystery to the photograph.
