My favorite picture has to be #13. I really feel like I'm there and looking up at the tree. My only critique has to be that some of your pictures are a tad too edited but they still look really good!
My favorite picture is 11. A person in my neighborhood has those trees/plants (I'm not exactly sure because they are exotic looking) and I think you did a good job capturing their strange leaves and fruit. Also you shot it from a good angle, giving it a whole different look then how it appears it person.
I really like that you got up close and personal for photos 4 and 5- It really makes the different colors of the moss pop, as well as bring the viewer's attention to the texture of the moss and bark. The combination of how you framed the shot and the color of the moss made the photos stand out in your set. Good job!
Michael - You do a great job of having colors pop out at you especially in pictures 6, 10, and 14. Each of them focuses on one color, setting the tone for that photo. My favorite from your set is #2. The framing and lighting in that picture are excellent and make me think of outer space, which I love even more because you found it in nature.
I really enjoyed photo #10. It feels like the color is melting off of the photo and the yellow stands out and is very vibrant. I like the angles you have for your photos like up the tree and to capture the shadow on the ground. I think you did a good job of capturing color of this assignment
Hands down my favorite is 13! Such an awesome shot! It reminds me of some of the pictures you see of the Red Wood trees. The shadows from the branches on the tree and the light really add to this picture. I also enjoy how most of your subjects deal with nature. Keep it up!
I absolutely love the angle shot up the tree in picture 13, with the vibrant leaves covering a crisp clear blue sky in the background. I also enjoy the black and white filtering in picture 3 with the leaf. There is definitely some mystery going on, Great job!
13 is definitely my favorite shot. I love the angle and the lighting. I'm also very partial to green. It's a passionate color that to me represents the natural beauty of our earth.
I really like number #4 because of the framing of the shot. The depth of field is shallow and you've included foreground and the background. I like the way that the white feather is hidden behind the leaf. I am wondering if this shot was shot from a phone or a dslr?
#13 is my favorite. The framing is a really great and interesting way to photograph a tree. The shallow depth of field makes it very visually appealing as well. The colors are very vivid without the photo being over saturated. Your photos are organized in a way that the first half of photos are taken on asphalt and the second half are taken in the woods. This is effective.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is # 10. The light makes the yellow jump out and the wood bends the tone in a good way.
